Super Duper Easy Heavy Duty Fruitti Christmas Cake
This comes to us from Budtender Liz!
A quick and delicious Christmas Cake that will save you so much time but not cheat you on taste !!!!
Whatcha need
🍳 3 large eggs, room temperature
🌻 10 oz plain flour
🧈 8 oz softened cannabis infused butter, our Heavy Duty Fruitti is the perfect choice.
🍭 8 oz light brown sugar
☘️ 1 tsp each of ground cloves, cinnamon, and ginger
🧂 Pinch of salt
🎄 410 g jar of mincemeat
🍑1 lbs of mixed dried fruit
🥃4 TBSP of brandy
❤️ Your favourite 8 inch round or 7 inch square bake tin.
📃 Parchment paper
👩🍳 How do you make it ????
■.Preheat oven to 280° F
■ Line your bake tin with parchment paper
■ Beat the eggs in a large bowl and add the rest of the ingredients, except the brandy.
■ Beat the mixture until smooth, then spoon it into the your lined cake tin.
■ Wet your hands and press the mixture into the tin and smooth out the top so it is level.
■ Bake the cake for 3 hours, or until cake feels firm to the touch and a toothpick comes out clean.
■ Remove the cake from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool for 15 minutes. Then spoon over the brandy.
■ Now let the cake cool completely in the tin.
🥮 Storing the cake
■ Remove cake from tin and peel away parchment lining.
■ Now wrap in fresh parchment paper, and then wrap with foil.
■ Store in a cool dark place for up to 3 months.
■ Unwrap, spoon over a little more brandy and snack away !!!!
